The Life of Pi pdf is an award-winning book written by Yann Martel. The story is primarily centered on Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel, an Indian boy who explores religious faith and rational humanism by telling a supposedly authentic experience of sharing a lifeboat for 227 days with a hungry Bengal tiger.

The reader must commit emotionally and intellectually from the first line to continue this journey. Martel does this with the following quote, highlighting how commitment to insanity can be used to answer many problematical questions.

There are two tips for people reading the novel “Life of Pi.”

One: Inserting meaning into life’s occurrences is not always necessary. Maybe it would be wiser to enjoy the natural beauty embedded in each moment.

Two: It may be wise to walk away from those who are too eager to give you life advice, do not bow down to correct your flawed morals, and be less keen to feel like you need anything besides your happiness. Three: See yourself as a human being first and as a member of a human race second. Treat everyone according to how they treat you. And if someone wants something from you, make sure they contribute more than just parts of themselves before handing over what they want.”
